Borax And Water Is The Simple Cure For...

Four ounces of Borax combined with a gallon of water claims to be the remedy for athletics foot.  Now that's simple and inexpensive considering the alternatives.

Dissolve any good powdered soap in boiling water.  Add one part alcohol to each 30 parts of soap solution.  When your mixture cools add a perfume scent. You've just made liquid hand soap.

Oil of citronella mixed with common vaseline produces a great mosquito repellent.  Apply to hands and put on shirt collar.  Put on a cloth handkerchief and tie around your neck.

8 ounces of ammonia plus 32 ounces of rubbing alcohol equals eyeglass cleaner.
