better than a treasure hunt
Let's start with the "don't leave home without it"
- Garage sale (treasure) map which shows where those sales are.
- Voice Recorder for note taking. No more writing!
- GPS (what do these initials stand for exactly?)
- Cash (of course)
The following list aims to assist you in breaking down large items, packing, loading or unloading. Some will prove more useful in finding clues.
- Two 25 ft lengths of rope to assist in hauling, loading, unloading
- Blankets are handy to have for padding.
- Clean rags will allow you to wipe off items before putting them in the car.
- Bind loose items with plastic ties.
- For quick clean-ups, bring along sanitizing wipes.
- Large plastic bags protect your car seats, floors and you in the rain.
- 5 or 6 carpet remnants
- Metal hooked bungee cords in assorted sizes.
- Magnifier to get a better view of hallmarks etc.
- Tape measure.
- 4 AA or 2 AAA batteries to make sure what you're buying really works.
- A light bulb wouldn't hurt for the same reason.
hammer, pliers, duct tape, screwdrivers, wrench, scissors, nails, screws, pins, etc...
