- Switch to a natural bristle hairbrush for the winter, because nylon brushes can stir up static electricity. If static electricity is still a problem? Spray brush lightly with hairspray.
- Before hitting the shower, put your rollers in your hair, for last minute curls. Steam from the shower will help set curls. Let hair dry on the rollers while you dress. When you have finished your makeup your hair should be ready to comb out and style.
- Why not use your blow dryer to take wrinkles out of your clothes. Using medium to high heat aim your blow dryer at the wrinkle approx. 8-12 inches from the fabric. Be sure the fabric can withstand heat. Wrinkle should be gone in seconds. You can also spray a fine mist of water on fabric if needed.
- To prevent ingrown hairs between shaving or waxing. Rub shaved or waxed areas vigorously with a towel every time you bathe or shower.
- You've probably heard this before but I am going to tell you again. Hot water is extremely drying to your skin because it strips all oils from skin and hair. Tepid water is a much better idea. If you must use hot water for a shower or bath, make it quick and apply lotion immediately after.
