3 New And Easy Household Recipes That Saves $

Plant Food
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ammonia
1 tablespoon epsom salts
1 teaspoon iodized salt
1 gallon water
Mix ingredients together.  Store in a spray bottle.  Shake well before using.  Once a month spray household plants.
Bonus Tip: 
Sprinkling baking soda around tomato plants will sweeten the tomatoes by lowering the soil's acidity.
 
 
Carpet Freshener
1 cup crushed , dried herbs (lavender, rosemary, etc.)
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
Combine ingredients and sprinkle over carpet.  Let sit for a few minutes and then vacuum.
OR
1 small box of baking soda mixed with a few drops of your favorite essential oil.  Sprinkle mixture onto carpet.  Leave for 10 - 20 minutes.  Vacuum.
OR
Combine 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup corn starch, 15 drops of your choice essential oil  Leave on carpet for 10 - 20 minutes.  Vacuum.  Store mixture in an airtight container.
 
 
 
All-Purpose Cleaner
Be sure to wear rubber gloves when working with this mixture.  Store in a clearly labeled spray bottle.
1 teaspoon borax
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar or 2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Dawn (works best) dish soap
2 cups hot water
