Step by Step Car Detailing You'll Be Proud Of

Wipe off all windows with a clean, dry cloth.  Wash the interior windows and vaccuum the interior.

Spray brake dust remover on wheels.

Use long-handled brush on the wheels, then rinse the wheels with a hose.

Wash entire vehicle with mild soap like Ivory.  Using sponges to clean the surface and a toothbrush to really clean the grill and the chrome pieces, then rinse entire car.

Rub the entire car dry with a chamois cloth, wringing the chamois dry when necessary.  Finish the drying process with ordinary terry cloth towels.

Wax the entire car.  Modern silicone polishes are as effective as traditional wax, are easier to use and have solvents to remove bugs.

Wip the entire interior with a damp cloth and use vinyl spray or leather treatment spray where appropriate.  Lemon furniture polish is a good touch.

Empty ashtrays and wipe them clean.

Do the exterior windows, using the squeegee to avoid streaks.

Apply chrome polish to the wheels to give them a brand-new look.

Apply tire black (carefully) to all tires using a disposable sponge.

Wipe down exterior black plastic and rubber parts with furniture polish or otherwise dust will stick to the excess material.
