Every once in a while I like to pick up a Woman's World while I'm at the grocery store. The price is right ($1.79) and it's always packed with useful information. I tell myself every time to send in some pics for publications. Because they pay nicely for anything they use. There are pretty good tips listed on just about every page. Here are my favorites. The ones I thought that would come in handy.

Make your nails grow easier and faster by rubbing lip balm into your cuticles. No need for expensive cuticle oil. Every girl has a tube of lip balm laying around, so their is no excuse to not have healthy cuticles.

Baby wipes work great to remove make-up, even waterproof mascara. Their non-irritating cleansers make them gentle on the eyes.

Placing a rubber band around the (hard-to-get-open) lid of a face cream jar or nail polish bottle (or jar of peanut butter) will give you a better grip and the product will open with ease.

One cup sweet almond oil and six drops of rose essential oil combined in a re-closeable bottle will keep indefinitely. Add 1 tablespoon to your bath and soak for at least 10 minutes before you pat dry. Dopamine (a calming brain chemical that puts you in a positive mood) is increased by the scent of a rose. And the oil will leave you super soft. Pampering yourself...priceless!

Select your most flattering top by considering the shape of your face. Choose a scoop neck or deep v neck, if you have a round face. This will help visually elongate by drawing the eye downward. Higher necklines like turtlenecks work best for someone with a longer face by creating balance. If your face is more square, a ruffled neck top will add softness to a defined chin and jaw.

Store olive oil away from light and purchase in small bottles. You want to be sure it's used up within two months. This ensures you reap all the disease fighting antioxidants it has to offer.
