Cut a paper towel roll in half. Use high-quality, thick paper towels. Mix together 2 cups warm water, 2 tablespoons baby oil, and 2 tablespoons baby bath soap or baby shampoo. Put one of the half-rolls of the paper towels into an empty container with a lid. Pour the liquid mixture directly on top of the paper towel roll and cover. After the liquid has completely saturated the entire roll, remove the cardboard tube. Pull your wipes from the middle of the roll. Keep sealed.Bookends can be made out of stuffed animals. Undo the back of the stuffed animal. Take out some stuffing and fill with marbles or similar material. Resew by hand. To prevent sliding, glue some rubber matting on the bottom of the toy. Match the decor in any room.

Mix one part conditioner with ten parts water. (Some conditioners work better for this than others and experimenting with different kinds may be required.) Pour into an empty, cleaned-out spray bottle. Spray this frugal detangler solution on hair and comb tangles out easily.
Cord Holders - keep long cords out of the way and snugly against the wall.
Cut two or more pieces of sticky-back Velcro 1 inch wide and about 2 inches long. Place the Velcro pieces with the sticky-back side along your baseboard, 1 to 2 feet apart. Stretch cord tight and place the other side of the Velcro over the top of each piece attached to the wall, to hold cord in place. Use as many pieces of Velcro as needed to hold the cord securely to the wall.
Make your own "slipper socks" by using puffy paint. Applied properly, it won't peel off. Personalize with markers and you have a great gift for your loved ones.
