Things associated with Winter

Cold Sores - try 1 tsp yogurt to dry up cold sores - apply several times a day.

Colds - prevent getting colds by eating yogurt.

Sore throat - mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day.  The vinegar kills the bacteria.

Chronic cough most likely means chronic sinusitis.  You need antibiotics, nasal steroids, or decongestants.

Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled with mysterious chemicals, try chewing a couple of strong Altoids peppermints.  They'll clear up your stuffed nose.

Depression
- get a dog to lift spirits.
- fish helps nerve cells, so eat lots of it.
- find a new friend.
- plan an outdoor vacation for winter, any amount of sun will help.
- skip a night of sleep to "reset" internal clock.
- indulge yourself one in a while to avoid regrets later in life
- put 3 fresh basil leaves in a cup of hot water and steep 10 min. before drinking.

To ward off diseases, wear gloves, not a face mask; handshakes transmit viruses more times than sneezes do.
