Turn Around Don't Drown!!!

Wow!  Did we get some rain.  It rained from Thursday morning until Friday morning.  Solid down-pour the whole time.  There are many areas around here that are still flooded.  The local news reported a range from nine to twelve inches.  Can you imagine getting a foot of rain?  I guess we don't have to now.  I am just glad that it wasn't ice or snow.  I can't think of a better thing to do on a cold, soggy, dreary day, than to stay inside and surf the net.  No I am kidding.  I was thinking I would go to the library, get some good ol' fashioned books to read.  You remember those don't you?  Anyway, I have already done my fair share of  surfing for a while.  Already been to the library's website and put some books on hold.  I think I need to check that site out more often.  There are all kinds of resources on there.  You can get movies, books on tape, toys and books for the kids (for all you mom bloggers out there).  I think I will be checking into some of their free classes they are offering.  I also learned they are having the annual book sale starting Oct. 20th.
