Crystal Shapes

     Crystals come in all shapes and sizes.  Some occur naturally, while others have been specially shaped to enhance their beauty or their properties.  Crystals direct energy in different ways according to their exterior geometry.  It is important to select the right shape of crystal for the work you want it to do.  A crystal cluster, for example, has different effect from a single point, or from a geode, even when it is the same type of stone.

GEODE - Cave-like interior contains the energy within it.
CLUSTER - Radiates energy out from the points to the surrounding environment.  Useful for cleansing or enhancing the energies in a room.
SINGLE POINT - Focuses energy.  Can be used to work on a specific point, either putting energy in or drawing energy out as appropriate.
LAZER WAND/LONG POINT
Focuses energy in a straight line, particularly useful for healing or ritual work.  Most wands are artificially shaped, but naturally formed, long pointed crystals such as the powerful Laser Quartz can be used.
"VOGEL-TYPE"-WAND - Specially created "indented facets" down the sides of a Quartz wand.  Shorter, fatter end is female and draws energy in; longer, thinner end is male and transmits energy out in a strongly focused beam.
DOUBLE TERMINATED - Balances and integrates spirit and matter.  Aids telepathy.  Treats addictions.
EGG - Pointed end for pressure-type therapies.  Detects and heals blockages in the body.
BALL - Emits energy in all directions equally.  Can be used as a window to the past or future.
PYRAMID - Focuses energy tightly through the apex.
TANTRIC TWIN - Two crystals growing from the same base.  Attracts love.  Holds the secret of true union.
SQUARE - Consolidates energy.
ELESTIAL - Small crystals over a multi-layered crystal.  Flowing energy, gently removes blockages and fear, balancing polarities. 
PHANTOM - Ghostlike crystal within a larger crystal.  Points the way to growth and evolution.
