9 Reasons To Keep Aluminum Foil Close This Winter

Nothing really sticks to aluminum foil.  It can be wiped off and re-purposed numerous times.  That makes it a winner in my frugal tip book.  And it is pretty! It can sharpen things and protect things.  It even can help clean things.  Maybe you have forgot just exactly how useful it can be in the winter.  I thought maybe you had so I took the liberty of listing a few ideas.  If you have an idea to share, please don't hesitate to let me know in a comment.  Can't wait to hear from you.

Cover cookie sheets with foil for a quick clean up.  This works great for the holidays when you will be making numerous batches to hand out as gifts.

If you run out of wax paper to put your goodies on, you know when they are cooling, aluminum foil will work just as well.

So you've put all your decorations in the yard and the lights are working properly.  Yea!  Now get some aluminum foil to reflect the lights for an even brighter display.

Place a sheet of aluminum foil under the liner in the basket holding the dinner rolls.  Those homemade rolls will stay warmer much longer.

Wrap heavy duty aluminum around a panel of insulation board and tuck it behind radiators and baseboard heaters to reflect heat into the room.

For winter protection, cover the vents on your air conditioner with aluminum foil.

Aluminum foil would make a wonderful place mat for everyone at the kiddies table.  Don't you think?

Have you ever thought about using aluminum foil to wrap a gift?  I've done it and it is a dream to work with.  And you hardly need any tape to secure it.  It looks beautiful under a tree reflecting all the lights.

Wait, I've got one more...

Line the fireplace with this miracle worker. (aluminum foil)  Go up the sides about 4 or 5 inches.  When ready to clean up after the fire is out,  just fold up the foil and toss it in the trash.
