Chocolate Firms Pepto-Bismol Cleanses Champagne Exfoliates

I wouldn't cut out spa day all together.  Every once in a while you deserve a treat.  Nothing beats a relaxing day of being pampered.  You should try these treatments in between visits, too keep your look and your wallet in tip top shape.

Firming Facial
An essential nutrient for the skin firming connective tissues is copper.  I bet you will never guess what is very rich with copper.  Are you ready for this... CHOCOLATE.  Isn't that awesome!  So here's what you do. Mix one heaping tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder with enough heavy cream to form a paste. Apply it to your clean and dry skin.  After 15 minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water and a washcloth.  Pat dry.  And you might want to steer clear of the dog while your wearing this on your face.  If you know what I mean.

Beautifying Mask
Peaches are rich in vitamin A.  This fruit helps protect skin from bacteria that causes pimples and blemishes. Vitamin A also builds collagen, which helps to improve your skin's elasticity, tone and texture. This mask leaves your complexion radiant.  Here's what you do?  In a blender with one tablespoon of brandy, pulse a fresh, ripe, peeled and pitted peach.  Dampen your face and apply your puree.  After 20 minutes rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry.  Throw away any left- overs.
Cleansing Mask
Apply a thin layer of Pepto-Bismol to your face.  Leave on until it dries completely.  Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.  The clay-like mineral in Pepto-Bismol is bismuth subsalicylate, which acts as a cleansing agent and draws out the skin's impurities.

Oily Skin Balanced
Use witch hazel as a balancing agent.  Dab it on your face with a cotton ball, first thing in the morning and last thing at night.  Anytime you feel your face is feeling oily.
Exfoliation Scrub
Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of champagne, enough to form a paste.  In circular motions, apply all over your face and neck.  Rinse off with lukewarm water and a washcloth.  Pat dry.  The enzymes that are in champagne's tartaric acid, along with the abrasive quality of the sugar should do a great job at exfoliating your skin.

Spots Be Gone
If you don't see results in one or two weeks, you'll have to learn to love your age spots and/or freckles I guess.  Grate half of a medium-sized onion onto a piece of cheesecloth, then squeeze the juice into a small bowl.  Mix in two teaspoons of distilled white vinegar and one tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide.  Using a cotton swab lightly, dab the solution on your spotty skin and let it dry.  Do this in the morning and evening.

NOTE:  Hydrogen Peroxide should be kept away from eyes.  Be aware that hydrogen peroxide tends to lighten any body hair that it comes in contact with.
