- Don't tug a dog's tail or ears. Teasing a dog is never a good idea.
- Leave the dog alone while he is sleeping. The same goes for eating, never take their foo
- Before petting a dog, make a fist and let him sniff it first.
- Enter a home where a dog lives only if someone who can control the dog is home.
- Always keep a safe distance away from the dog's mouth or paws.
- Be extra careful around dogs that were raised in a home with no children.
- Unless the owner is present, always stay away from strange dogs.
