Beauty Bits Of This-n-That With A Dash Of Thrift

Cool Water
This would be my choice.
Just because a cologne has been marketed for a man does not mean it doesn't smell good on a woman.  If you want a scent none of your girlfriends are wearing, go ahead and wear it no matter what the bottle looks like.  I won't tell.  An added bonus.  Men's cologne is often cheaper than women's cologne.

Empty perfume bottles continue to dispense their fragrance for a while.  Instead of throwing your just finished bottle in the trash, put it in your lingerie drawer.  Ooh la la!

Did you know adding one or two drops of alcohol to a near-empty perfume or cologne gives you a few more squirts.  I've heard a drop or two of vodka works too.  Sounds better than "whale vomit"?

In the summer, cologne stored in the refrigerator will feel cool and tingly when you splash it on after your shower or bath.

Alcohol cleans cosmetic brushes.  Dip them in rubbing alcohol, swish around, then gently dry with a paper towel.  Brushes should get the once-over every other week.

You should spend as much time removing your makeup as you do putting it on.

Returning any cosmetic or skin-care product for any reason should not be a problem.  If you have an allergic reaction, the packaging falls apart or maybe the product dries out, to name a few, are all valid reasons to return it.  If the store where you purchased it won't exchange it or refund your money, write directly to the manufacturer.

A lazy susan for your make-up, especially the two-tiered kind, frees up space on your bathroom counter top.
