Substances To Avoid Found In Household Products

Petroleum Distillates - hydrocarbon solvents produced from crude oil. These solvents include mineral spirits, kerosene, white spirits, naphtha, and Stoddard solvent.
TCE (trichloroethylene) - nonflammable, colorless liquid with a somewhat sweet odor and a sweet, burning taste.
PDCBs (paradichlorobenzenes) - potential occupational carcinogen.
Glycols
Formaldehyde
Cresol
Butyl Cellosolve
Hydrochloric Acid
             Lye
             Propellents

Some are familiar and some are not.  I have included links on a few of these that will tell you everything you need to know about all of them.  Avoid them whenever possible!

I'm learning natural products work just as well if not better in some cases.  Not containing poison is a definite plus too.
