Frugal Tips You Probably Haven't Heard About

I found these tips on one of my favorite sites.  Here's the link where you'll see these tips plus a lot more.  And don't forget to read the comments because there's a bunch listed there too.

Clean a curling iron by mixing 1/4 cup warm water and 1 tbsp liquid fabric softener.  The hairspray and gunk should wipe right off with a clean cloth.  Use a q-tip for hard to get at spots.

Used dryer sheets can be used to remove nail polish.  Put a bit of nail polish remover on it and clean your nails in seconds.

Old jars can be used to collect cooking grease.  When it gets full just throw it away.

Plastic bread clips come in handy to remove labels or price tags.  With these little guys around you will always have something to scratch those winning lottery tickets.  And here's one more idea.  Label all those cables under your desk by using sharpie on clip.

Old toothbrushes are great for cleaning just about anything with tiny crevices. They’re also great for scrubbing out tiny stains from clothes.

Use the other side of a business card to label storage boxes and tubs and tape to the outside of the lid or side so you can see at a glance what the container is holding.
