When Frugal Makes Cents

 Buying in bulk may not be that good a deal if you have to find room to store large quantities of items you won't use in a relatively short period of time.  A better solution might be purchasing bulk products in common with family members or friends, so everyone saves money without incurring excess clutter.

Comforters facilitate bed making by reducing the number of sheets, blankets, etc., you need.  You'll also cut down on the amount of dirty laundry you have to wash.

Literally as well as symbolically, holes in the pocket s of clothing allowing money to slip away.  Mend them!

Just because you received something as a birthday present or housewarming gift doesn't mean you have to hold on to it forever.  If you don't like it or never use it, pass it on to someone who will.  Re-gifting is not a sin.  Rather than buying friends and family member more stuff, give them consumable presents.  Concert or theater tickets or a gift card to their favorite store or restaurant should keep you safe from being a victim of re-gifting.
Many spices come in nearly identical jars or tins.  Alphabetical organization enables you to find what you need quickly and prevents you from grabbing the wrong one by mistake.  Before you replace spices, assess your needs with a critical eye-it may not be space or cost effective to buy something you'll only use once a year.  Spices lose their potency over time. 

Turn single socks into dust cloths. 
 
Coffee can are ideal for shipping or storing breakables. 

It can be tempting to buy something when it's on sale.  But remember, a good deal is only a good deal if you really need it and are going to use it soon.
