Update Your Look With These 5 Ways To Tie A Scarf

collection eighteen Women's Twill Pashmina Shawl,Red,One Size
I've seen people wearing scarves with everything from blue jeans to ball gowns.  How the heck do they tie them to get that pulled together look?  My scarf usually ends up hanging loose around my neck, if I wear it at all.  I finally found step-by-step instructions that even I can follow.  Here's what I found.

     "Fold Over"
          1.  Take a long rectangular scarf and fold in half; hold behind neck.
          2.  Bring scarf forward and place loose ends through loop at your neck.
          3.  Take one tail and tuck over loop at neck.
Tip:  Use a crinkly, pleated scarf to give any outfit a feminine ruffled look.

"Oversized"
          1.  Hold an oversized oblong scarf behind your neck (do not fold-the look should be loose).
          2.  Drape around your neck once to make a big loop, dangling one tail slightly longer than the other in front.

"Lasso"

          1.  Hold a large rectangular scarf in front of your chest with one corner pointing toward your navel.
          2.  Bring two side corners back behind your head, make a knot and bring tails forward.

     "Double-Drape"
          1.  Start with a long rectangular scarf, looped once in front of your neck.
          2.  Make a second loop below the first loop.
          3.  Take one tail and tuck into the lower loop.

     "Bundle Up"
          1.  Fold a long scarf in half lengthwise and widthwise.
          2.  Hold the scarf behind your head, bringing both ends toward the front.
          3.  Thread scarf's loose ends through the looped end.

There you have it.  Men look good wearing scarves too.  Don't you think?
