Kool Aid Tye Dye T-Shirts

I bet your kids would love to create a cool shirt to wear this summer.
Put one package unsweetened Kool-Aid and 1 ounce of vinegar in a plastic bowl.  Mix until Kool-Aid is dissolved.  Using rubber bands, pull and twist T-shirt into different shapes.  Dip rubber-banded ends into mixture.  Make sure you wear gloves or your hands will stain.  To set color, iron on medium-high using ironing cloth between shirt and iron.  Let set for 24 hours before washing.  To be safe, wash separately the first time. After laundering, it's ready to wear.
Do Not use fabric softener in the first wash because the dye will not take.  Use different flavors/colors, one per bowl.

And if you haven't heard, you can also dye your hair with Kool-Aid.  The directions were very easy to find.
