Easy Ways to Cut Calories for Weight Loss

Each one of these tips slashes at least 100 calories.
  • Eat just half a doughnut or bagel.  Use the "half " technique whenever possible.
  • If you usually eat a double cheeseburger, go down to a single.  Instead of a large, get a medium.
  • Substitue nonstick cooking spray for butter when cooking.
  • Swap your two regular beers for two light ones.
  • Two tablespoons of fat-free salad dressing is just a yummy as regular.
  • Hold the pepperoni and just get a cheese pizza.
  • Choose a cup of popcorn instead of 20 potato chips.
  • You will benefit by adding three, 5-minute walks to your day.
  • Use mustard instead of mayo and cut 100 calories.
This sounds like a great plan for cutting calories.  I could handle following these tips.  The "half"  technique might be tough but I love cheese pizza.  And a couple of weeks ago I was out of oil and butter, substituted the non-stick cooking spray and it worked great, maybe better.  At the time I wasn't thinking weight loss, but now I am.  Non-stick cooking spray is a staple in my kitchen from here on out.

I really hope the free pedometer comes from Nature's Bounty.  I have been wanting one for a while, but just couldn't fit it in my budget.  Free fits and timing couldn't be better.

Making these small changes will  have a big impact on your weight and your pocketbook.
