Maintaining Strong Aura

Your aura marks out "your space."  If someone stands too close, you feel uncomfortable because his or her aura is penetrating yours.  An aura weakened by illness, energy depletion, psychic attack, or emotional or mental pain appears to have "holes" or to billow out into space.  These disturbances let other people's thoughts and feelings through-and leave you open to energy depletion.
Holding a Quartz crystal in front of your solar plexus instantly doubles the size and strength of your aura, and Quartz can be used to detect and repair "holes."  Labradorite and Apache Tear protect your aura from negative energy.  Wear Labradorite jewelry or slip an Apache Tear into your pocket.
A Psychic vampire is someone who feeds off other people's energy.  If you feel tired after you have been with a friend or colleague, it is possible that you could have been vampirized.  Aventurine and Labradorite are the crystals that protect against this.  If vampirism comes from someone with ill-intent, Black Tourmaline is the crystal to use.
Repairing Auric Holes
You can locate and repair holes in your aura using crystals.  With your eyes closed, slowly run an Amethyst or Quartz point over your body (or ask a friend or a partner to do this for you).  An auric hole will fell cold and energy-less.  Leave the crystal over the hole for a few moments, with the point facing inward to your body.  It will become warm and energized once more.  Continue this process until the whole aura has been healed.

Ill-Wishing

The aura can be influenced by ill-wishing.  At its most extreme this becomes psychic attack: a situation in which a person deliberately wishes you harm.  You can protect yourself by wearing an appropriate crystal such as the highly effective Black Tourmaline, Ametrine, Amber, or Fire Agate.  Black Tourmaline with Mica and Fire Agate return ill-wishing so that the source can understand the effect of their actions.  Place a crystal by your front door or wear it around your neck.  You may also find yourself under undue influence from a strong mind.  This may be deliberate or you may unconsciously act on someone else's thoughts.  Selenite and Kunzite deal with this, while Pyrolusite dispels interference from the psychical or spiritual world.  "Comb" your aura with the crystals, or wear them around you neck or as earrings.

Creating a Protective Crystal

Hold an appropriate crystal in your hands for a few moments, visualizing its powers of protection surrounding you.  Place the crystal in a spiral and wear around your neck.
